How to use the Twitter thread archive

  1. Paste a public post link

Paste a link to any post in the thread. TwiFlux retrieves the available sequence through its configured provider and shows the preview first.

  2. Review the sequence and media

Check the post count, completeness note, image count, and source links. The archive preserves the returned order and calls out what could not be verified.

  3. Download the local ZIP

Choose Download archive ZIP to create the files in your browser. The ZIP is limited to 20 MiB; videos remain source links while available images are copied into the archive.

Keep a readable, source-preserving copy

The Twitter thread archive includes both Markdown for notes and a standalone HTML file for browsing offline. A manifest records the requested post, returned count, completeness note, and local media paths so you can understand what was saved.

Images are bundled when available

Post photos are downloaded through TwiFlux's controlled media route and stored under a local media folder in the ZIP. If an image cannot be fetched or the archive reaches its size limit, the tool reports the reason before saving.

Twitter thread archive questions

What is included in the Twitter thread archive ZIP?

The ZIP contains a Markdown file, a readable standalone HTML file, a JSON manifest, and available post images. Each post keeps its original source link.

Does the archive include videos?

The archive keeps available MP4 and HLS stream URLs in the Markdown file. Video bytes are not bundled, so the archive stays small and the source remains visible.

How complete is the saved thread?

The preview shows the provider's available post count and completeness note before you download. X does not expose a universal completeness marker to this tool, so review the sequence and source links.

Is this Twitter thread archive free?

Yes. It uses the same public-post provider as the other TwiFlux tools and creates the ZIP in your browser. No paid X API or account connection is required.
