How to use the Twitter bookmark manager and reading list

  1. Save a public post link

    Paste a Twitter or X post URL, add an optional label or note, and choose Save bookmark. The manager validates the link without fetching the post.

  2. Search saved posts when you need them

    Search by tweet ID, label, or note, then open the original post in a new tab. Duplicate tweet IDs are prevented.

  3. Export a portable backup

    Choose Export JSON to keep a local backup, then Import JSON in another browser. Invalid links and duplicates are skipped.

One local list for bookmarks and reading later

The Twitter bookmark manager and reading list use one browser-only collection. It stores a canonical public post link, its ID, your optional label and note, and a timestamp. It does not cache the post text, images, or videos, and it does not sync an X account.

When you need the content itself, use the tweet downloader or inspect a sequence with the Twitter thread reader.

Yes. It saves public post links, labels, and notes in your browser without an account or paid API.

Are my Twitter bookmarks uploaded?

No. The bookmark manager uses browser storage. TwiFlux does not upload your saved links, labels, or notes.

Can I move bookmarks to another browser?

Yes. Export a JSON backup, then import it in another browser. Public post links are validated, normalized, and deduplicated during import.

Does this sync X Bookmarks?

No. This local bookmark manager is deliberately separate from X account sync and does not request your login or account permissions.
