Cookie Policy

How TwiFlux uses cookies and browser storage for preferences, saved tools, and optional services.

Effective date:

This policy explains browser storage used by TwiFlux, operated by TwiFlux.

What cookies and browser storage do

Cookies are small pieces of data a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage keeps information in your browser until it is removed by the site or cleared through browser settings. These technologies can support sign-in, preferences, security or optional services.

Storage used by the service

Interface preferences

theme stores your light or dark mode preference in local storage. Some authenticated or administrative pages may also use the sidebar_state cookie to remember whether a sidebar is open for up to seven days. These preferences are not used for advertising.

Saved tools and lists

The home page stores favorite tool slugs in local storage under twiflux:favorite-tools:v1. The reading list and bookmark manager store post links, labels, notes and timestamps under twiflux-reading-list. These values stay in your browser unless you export or share them yourself.

Hosting and security providers may also use storage when a protection feature is triggered. See Cloudflare's cookie information for the purpose and lifetime of cookies associated with those features.

Optional services

Where an optional service is listed, its policy describes the information and storage it uses. The presence of a service in this policy does not itself grant permission to use your information.

Managing browser storage

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site data in your browser's privacy settings. If sign-in or payment features are enabled, clearing their cookies may sign you out or require you to restart checkout. Blocking essential storage may affect those features. Clearing preferences resets the associated settings.

Local storage usually persists until you or the site removes it. Browser settings apply to that browser and device; repeat the change on other devices you use. Controls for an external sign-in or payment provider are also available through that provider.

Changes and questions

We update this policy when the storage used by the service changes. The Privacy Policy explains information handling and your rights. Email support@twiflux.com with questions about browser storage.
